Charitable Planning

Our Story Began with Advisors

The community foundation model was founded in 1914 by estate planning advisor Frederick H. Goff, whose vision was to create a permanent and flexible vehicle for charitable giving that would allow individuals and families to support their communities during their lifetimes and beyond.

In 2005, Darrell Drummond, founder of Drummond and Associates, saw that same need in Lodi. As a trusted financial advisor with deep roots in the community, Darrell recognized the importance of having a local community foundation dedicated to working alongside individuals, families, businesses, and their advisors to create lasting legacies that strengthen the Lodi community.

Like many advisors who build long standing relationships and understand the personal and financial dynamics of the families they serve, Darrell established the Lodi Community Foundation with the support of clients and community leaders who wanted a trusted vehicle to fulfill their charitable goals now and for generations to come.
